Automations
The right person, first time.
Most misrouting is predictable: billing questions, technical faults, account changes. A handful of rules removes the reassignment step that otherwise costs half a day.
By responsibility, not by name
Route to whoever holds the billing responsibility, not to a named person who might have left. Where a workforce directory is connected, that resolves automatically.
Availability is checked
Routing to somebody on holiday is not routing. The rule resolves to the recorded backup rather than putting a case in an empty queue.
Unroutable is visible
A case no rule matched goes to a clearly marked place rather than to a default owner who may not notice it. Silent defaults are where cases die.
